DescriptionA black-and-white, head and shoulders photograph of Nellie Fox captured with a large bulge of chewing tobacco in his left cheek while looking off to the side. Fox is dressed in a Chicago White Sox home uniform. The first Comiskey Park is in the background. The caption on the back of the photograph (not shown) states, "Nothing that requires attention of a dentist -- it's just Nellie Fox enjoying a chaw of tobacco. The Chicago White Sox second baseman chews tobacco to relax his nerves...4/25/61." This photograph was taken in April 1961.
