DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Nellie Fox captured showing off his shotgun collection. Fox is placing his one shotgun back on the shelf with his right hand and touching another shotgun on the lower shelf with his left hand. The caption on the back of the photograph (not shown) states, "An avid outdoor sportsman, Nellie keeps close tabs on his collection of rifles in the game room of his home. Small in stature, Nellie is a big man on the ballfield. Last year he rapped out 191 hits in batting a healthy .306...12/5/59." Based on the caption, this photograph was taken in December 1959.
