DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Nellie Fox captured squatting down and giving affection to his pet dog. Fox is dressed in plain clothes but is wearing his Chicago White Sox baseball cap. The caption on the back of the photograph (not shown) states, "Hunting is one of Nellie's favorite pastimes when he's not wreaking havoc on the diamond. Here, he fondles one of his pet beagle hounds...12/5/59." Based on the caption, this photograph was taken in December 1959.
