DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Monte Irvin polishing the window on a liquor store he owns with Willie Mays. The image caption on the reverse (not shown) reads, "Polishing Up. Brooklyn, N.Y.: Slugging outfielder Monte Irvin puts a high gloss on the store front window of the liquor shop he operates in partnership with New York Giant teammate Willie Mays. If their sales are anything like their playing performances, then Monte and Willie should be a real success. The name of the store, in Brooklyn is a combination of both players' first names--Willmont."
