DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Ty Cobb with his new bride, Frances. The image caption on the reverse reads, "Newlyweds have lunch in New York. Ty Cobb, the former baseball star and Hall of Fame immortal, and his bride, the former Mrs. Frances Cass, have lunch in a New York City hotel, Sept. 26, prior to going to Yankee Stadium to attend the Yankees-Boston Red Sox game. Cobb and Mrs. Cass were married in Buffalo, NY, Sept. 24." Ty and Frances are seated at a table, looking towards each other. Ty has a lit cigarette in his left hand.
