Holding his fedora in his right hand, turning his upper body to his right, in the direction of Comiskey, Veeck looks forward and to a point to the right of the camera. Comiskey, left, also facing the camera, wears a three piece suit and bow tie. Sitting on the same bench as Veeck, he clasps his hands, resting them in his lap. Comiskey holds his fedora between his hands. Looking forward, Comiskey establishes eye contact with the camera. Pasted on the reverse (not shown), typed in black ink, is a caption that reads, "BASEBALL MAGNATES TESTIFY BEFORE GRAND INVESTIGATING "FIXED" BASEBALL GAMES. (The phrase, "w/ William Louis Veeck, Sr," handwritten in black ink has been added to the typed caption in this location.) Charles A.
