The caption (not shown) reads "The Babe ran his batting eye down the sights of a shotgun on the private goelet preserve, at Chester, N.Y. the other day and bagged 14 pheasants. He refused to talk baseball, but pointed out that his shooting eye "wasn't so bad for a guy who only hunts once in awhile. He was guest of Pierre McCormack, son of Richard McCormack, shown with him. They took home a few rabbits, too. "
