The caption (not shown) reads "Supreme ruler of slugging in baseball, George Herman (Babe) Ruth tried cricket recently at London, England, and found that his batting eye served him to good purpose. He is shown above Feb. 9 at Thames house receiving pointers on correct cricket stance from Alan Fairfax, former Australian test cricketer. Babe reverted to baseball position after a few tries and made out pretty well."
