Traynor is holding his hands out while talking and looking towards Sisler. Hoak is smiling at Traynor. Sisler is looking towards Hoak and is squinting his eyes. Both Traynor and Hoak are dressed in Pittsburgh Pirates home uniforms. A newspaper caption affixed to the back of the photograph (not shown) states, "Don Hoak (center), of Pittsburgh Pirates, gets some pretty good pointers from two Hall of Famers, Harold (Pie) Traynor (left) and George Sisler (right) at Fort Myers, Fla., training camp of Pirates." Based on a date stamped on the reverse (not shown), this photograph was probably taken in 1960.
