BiographyLefty Leifield pitched for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1905-1912), Chicago Cubs (1912-1913), and the St. Louis Browns (1918-1920). After his playing career, Leifield served as a coach for the Browns, Boston Red Sox, Detroit Tigers and managed in the minor leagues.
