BiographyJimmie Wilson played for the Philadelphia Phillies (1924-1928, 1934-1938, 1934-1938 as player-manager), St. Louis Cardinals (1928-1933), and the Cincinnati Reds (1939-1940). During his playing career, Wilson coached for the Reds. After his playing career, Wilson managed the Chicago Cubs (1941-1944) and coached for the Reds.
