DescriptionBlack painted wooden bat, 31 ounces, with a gold manufacturer decal in the center of the barrel and "Model June5 Maple / Hunter Pence / L5A3XP6.0129.0227 33.75.31" in gold lettering near the end of the barrel. There is an MLB Authentication hologram sticker above this gold lettering. The handle is wrapped in fluorescent green tape. Knob end has a black and orange vinyl decal with "SF" and "8" in orange lettering.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Hunter Pence of the San Francisco Giants for his first plate appearance on Opening Day of the 2020 season on July 23rd against the Los Angeles Dodgers. In the first inning of that game, Pence became the first designated hitter to come to the plate under the new rules in a National League versus National League game.
