DescriptionWhite polyester shirt, size 46, with six clear buttons down the front placket. There is a black embroidered manufacturer logo patch on the proper right upper chest and "Pirates / 21" in black and yellow appliques across the front chest and proper left front torso. Each sleeve has black and yellow trim around the lower portion near the sleeve edge. Proper left sleeve has a team logo patch depicting a pirate's face and two crossed baseball bats. Proper left front shirttail has two manufacturer labels, with an MLB Authentication hologram sticker adhered to the upper one. Reverse of the shirt has an MLB logo patch at the top back of the neck and "21" in back and yellow appliques.
Bio/Historical NoteUniform shirt worn by Pittsburgh Pirates third base coach, Joey Cora, on September 15, 2021, when the Pirates celebrated the annual Roberto Clemente Day with every uniformed player and member of the coaching staff wearing the number 21. Cora, an 11-year major league infielder, helped seal the game’s walk-off win over the Reds by waving the Pirates runner on second base, Wilmer Difo, home on a ground ball to first base.
