The players are dressed in the Philadelphia Athletics uniforms. A newspaper clipping is affixed to the back of the photograph (not shown) (not shown) and states, "Something to Grin About Connie Mack, owner-manager of the American League leading Philadelphia Athletics, and his board of strategy have something to grin about, Apr 12, after the A's won their tenth straight game, whipping the St. Louis Browns in Philadelphia. Left to right, front are Al Simmons, Mack and Earle Brucker. Rear, left to right are Jimmy (Skeeter) Webb and Dave Keefe. 5/12/48."
