Everyone except for Mack are dressed in a Philadelphia Athletics uniform. Baseball fans are visible in the stadium seating in the background. A newspaper clipping is affixed to the back of the photograph (not shown) (not shown) and states, "Guiding Athletics Clearwater, Fla.: Manager Connie Mack of the Philadelphia Athletics maps the plans for spring training in Clearwater.
