Both wear hats and coats. A caption pasted on the reverse (not shown) reads, "Connie Mack Off To Florida Philadelphia--Connie Mack, veteran manager of the Philadelphia Athletics, tells Mrs. Mack that Florida is their next stop, Jan. 11. Just before they boarded a train for Florida. The veteran manager indicated that he would remain in Florida to condition himself for another campaign with the 'A's'.11-1-39." The creation date of this photograph is based on the included caption.
