DescriptionA black-and-white glass plate negative of Chicago Cubs manager Bill Killefer, left, captured in profile as he shakes hands with Chicago White Sox player Johnny Evers on the sidelines of the baseball field at Wrigley Park. Both gentlemen have small smiles on their faces. Killefer is dressed in the Chicago Cubs home uniform whereas Evers is dressed in the Chicago White Sox road uniform. Unidentified baseball players and an umpire are visible in the background on the baseball field. Numerous baseball fans are visible in the stadium seating. Based on Killefer and Evers' uniforms and their time with their respective teams this negative was taken in approximately 1922.
