Johnny Evers Dual photograph

Date1913 and circa 1942
DescriptionA black-and-white photograph comprised of two images of Johnny Evers. On the left is an image of Evers as he was around 1942. On the right, the image is of Evers as he was during his time as a player for the Chicago Cubs in 1913. Caption on the reverse (not shown) reads, "Johnny Evers, now and then. Remember the middle man of that great "Tinker-to-Evers-to-Chance" infield of the Chicago Cubs in the early part of the century? Here's Johnny Evers as he looks now (left) and as he looked (right) while playing for the Cubs. Evers, ailing at his home in Albany, N.Y., since 1942, still follows baseball closely."
