The top reads "The National League of Professional Base Ball Clubs" with the address below, typed in blue calligraphy. The date is on the right and to the left is the recipient's name and address. Frick informs Cleland that he will bring up the Baseball Museum at the league's summer meeting on July 7th. It is signed "Ford Frick." The verso (not shown) is blank.
