Brooklyn Dodgers Player Fielding negative

Dateprobably 1941
DescriptionA black-and-white negative of a first baseman, probably Dolph Camilli, captured making a play at first base. Camilli is captured holding the ball in his left hand as a New York Yankees player, possibly Marius Russo, is captured in mid-air as he is running to first base. An unidentified Brooklyn Dodgers' pitcher is on the mound. An unidentified player is also captured jogging on the field. The Dodgers players are dressed in Brooklyn Dodgers home uniforms, whereas the Yankees player is dressed in a New York Yankees road uniform. Ebbets Field is in the background. The stands are in the background, filled with baseball fans. Based on Camilli and Russo's uniforms, their time with their respective teams, and the fact that these teams would have only played during the playoffs, this negative was probably taken during the 1941 World Series.
