DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Lefty Grove, left, and Mickey Cochrane, right, captured standing up against a stadium wall at Shibe Park. Grove has a large smile on his face and has his right hand placed on his hip while his left rests on the wall. Cochrane has a small smile and also has one of his hands placed on his hip. Both gentlemen are dressed in Philadelphia Athletics home uniforms. The caption on the back of the photograph (not shown) states, "Grove and Cochrane great athletics batters champions a's of 14, 29, 30, 31." Based on Grove and Cochrane's uniforms and their time together on the Athletics, this photograph was taken between 1931 and 1933.
