Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Bobby Thomson of the New York Giants to hit the "Shot Heard 'Round the World" home run on October 3, 1951 in a playoff game against the Brooklyn Dodgers. Thomson's home run, which was hit off of Ralph Branca, sent the New York Giants to the 1951 World Series, where they lost to the New York Yankees.
