DescriptionWooden bat, 32 ounces, with natural stain handle and knob and dark brown stain taper and barrel. Center of the barrel has a "McLaughlin-Millard, Inc. / Northern White Ash / Adirondack / 302 / Dolgeville, New York / Flexible Whip Action" trademark logo with "Personal Model / Long / Ligninized" near the end of the barrel. A portion of the handle is wrapped in black tape. Knob end has "179A" engraved in the center with "3" handwritten in black ink.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Dale Long of the Pittsburgh Pirates to hit eight consecutive home runs in eight games from May 19th to May 28, 1956.
