Hank Aaron 500th Home Run bat

DescriptionNatural stain wooden bat, 33.5 ounces, with an "Adirondack 302 Northern White Ash" trademark logo in the center of the barrel and "Adirondack / H. Aaron / Flame Treated" inscribed near the end of the barrel. There is a blue stripe around upper handle taper. Knob end and barrel end tip have "44" written in black marker. There is a piece of white tape on the end of the knob with "32 oz" written in pencil.

Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Hank Aaron of the Atlanta Braves to record his 500th home run on July 14, 1968 in a 4-2 win over the San Francisco Giants.
