Ossie Vitt Dugout negative

DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Ossie Vitt captured sitting on a bench in the Indians dugout. Vitt is looking up with a large smile. His hands are held together and his feet are resting on the bottom stair that lead into the dugout. Vitt is dressed in the Cleveland Indians home uniform. He managed the Indians from 1938 until 1940. On the other side of the pillar is a Cleveland Indians player captured smiling who is probably Ken Keltner. Several unidentified Cleveland Indians players are also seated throughout the dugout with Vitt. Based on Vitt's uniform and his time with the Indians, this negative was probably taken in 1940.
