DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Ossie Vitt captured in profile observing the game from the Cleveland Indians dugout. Vitt has his feet propped up on the bottom step that leads into the dugout and is holding his baseball hat in his right hand. His hair is combed over to the side and Vitt has a look of confusion on his face. On the opposite side of the pillar next to Vitt is Ken Keltner. Standing and leaning forward with his arms crossed is Soup Campbell. Keltner, Vitt and Campbell are all dressed in the Cleveland Indians home uniform. Several other unidentified Cleveland Indians players are in the dugout. Numerous fans are visible in the stands that surrounds the side of the dugout. Based on Vitt's uniform and his time as a manager for the Indians, this negative was probably taken in 1940.
