DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Joe Medwick captured as he is rounding the base. Medwick is dressed in a Brooklyn Dodgers home uniform and the number 77 is visible on the back of his uniform. Ebbets Field is visible in the background. Numerous fans are seated in the upper deck of the stadium. Advertisements line the lower back wall of the field. Based on Medwick's uniform and his time with the Dodgers, this negative was probably taken in 1940.
