Miller Huggins shirt

DescriptionCream wool uniform shirt with blue pinstripes and short sleeves. Front placket has seven pearlescent white buttons and two extra button holes at the shirt bottom. Each underarm has six round ventilation holes. "Huggins" is embroidered at the back interior collar in tan thread. A twill tape tag is sewn in above the name with "293" written in black ink; this tag is sewn on top of the number "28" written in ink on the collar. To the left of the embroidered name is the manufacturer tag, "A.G. Spalding & Bros. / Spalding Trade Mark / Made in U.S.A." Rear of shirt has a buttonhole, reinforced on the shirt interior, up from the shirt hem.
