Facing the camera and shown from the neck up, Alexander wears a Philadelphia Phillies jersey and baseball cap. He looks forward to the camera, establishing eye contact. Based on the specific design of the uniform worn by Alexander, this image was captured between 1914 and 1917. The number two is visible on the frame. The handwriting on the surface of the photograph is not original.
