Old Timers versus Boston Beaneaters scorecard

DescriptionBoston Beaneaters Official Scorecard, 1891, printed at the end of the season for the exhibition game. The scorecard is from a Old Timers vs. Boston Beaneaters game on October 9, 1891. The scorecard was printed with black ink and has the rosters for each team. The front cover has a collage of photographs of the 1891 Boston players with a sign in the middle that reads "Champions 1891 Boston Base Ball Club National League." Each photograph is from the chest up and in uniform, they all have a caption underneath identifying them by last name. The players include in the top row (L to R) Tommy Tucker, Herman Long, Harry Stovey, Joe Quinn, second row; King Kelly, Frank Selee, Billy Nash, third row; John Clarkson, Charlie Bennett, fourth row; Kid Nichols, Charlie Ganzel, Harry Staley, fifth row; Steve Brodie and Bobby Lowe. The back cover is printed in red and black ink and reads "souvenir Score Card Boston Base-Ball Club National League Champions for 1892." Below that it lists all the players pictured on the front cover.
