DescriptionThe scorecard is from a Louisville Colonels vs. Pittsburgh Alleghenys game played on June 27, 1885 at Recreation Park in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. The game was won by Pittsburgh by a score of 4 to 3. The scorecard is printed in black ink and is filled out in pencil. The front cover has a full length, black and white batter and reads "Official Score Card Published by Pittsburgh Fire Arms Co." The back cover has an advertisement for the Pittsburgh Fire Arms Co. and shows five black and white pictures of rugby ball, a uniform top, uniform pants, spikes, and a man on a large wheel bicycle.
