DescriptionBuffalo Bisons Official Scorecard, 1885. The scorecard is from the second game of a doubleheader between the Detroit Wolverines and the Buffalo Bisons played on September 12, 1885 at Olympic Park in Buffalo, New York. The game was won by Buffalo by a score of 6 to 3. The scorecard is printed with black ink and is filled out in pencil. The scorecard has advertisements for Michigan Central, Swan Street Cafe, A. Cutler & Son Furniture, Thurstone & Co's Great Drug House, Chase & Comstock, The new "Genesee", American Palace Steam Laundry, and Palace Laundry Office. The front cover is in color and shows the back side of a base runner in mid-stride with the baseball bat laying on the ground behind him. The back cover is in color and shows a baseball player standing at a fence and looking up at a baseball that is above the fence.
