DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of, from left to right, Lou Gehrig, Bill Terry, Babe Ruth and Mel Ott captured standing on a baseball field. Gehrig has a smile on his face and has his hands placed on his hips. Terry has his hands down by his side and has a straight face. Ruth has a tight lipped smile on his face and has his hands on his hips. Ott has a small grin on his face and has his hands placed on his hips. Gehrig and Ruth are dressed in New York Yankees home uniforms while Terry and Ott are dressed in New York Giants home uniforms. An unidentified stadium is in the background and is filled with numerous fans. Each player autographed the front of the photograph. Based on the four gentlemen's uniforms and their time with their respective teams, this photograph was taken in approximately 1931.
