DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Bill Terry, left, and John McGraw, right, captured standing with one another chatting. Terry, who is smiling, has his hand placed on his hip and and is leaning against a partial wall. McGraw is looking towards Terry and has both his hands in his pockets. Terry and McGraw are dressed in the New York Giants road uniform with Giants jackets on top of their uniforms. A few baseball fans are visible in the stadium seating in the background. A newspaper clipping affixed to the back of the photograph (not shown) reads, "Bill Terry, the new pilot, and John...retired yesterday as manager of the ... appeared together for the last time John J...." Based on the newspaper clipping and McGraw and Terry's uniforms and their respective time with the New York Giants this photograph was taken in approximately 1932.
