Ruth is captured with a serious expression on his face as he uses a baseball bat to hold him up and has his left hand on his hip. Ruth is dressed in a Boston Braves road uniform. Ott is captured with his hand on his hip and is leaning against a baseball bat. He has a smile on his face. Ott is dressed in a New York Giants home uniform. An unidentified baseball player is standing behind Ruth and Ott in the background and is captured stroking his chin. Several other unidentified gentlemen are visible in the background on the field and in the stadium seating. Polo Grounds is in the background. Based on Ott and Ruth's uniforms and their time with their respective teams, this photograph was taken in approximately 1935.
