DescriptionNavy blue cap with "FDNY" embroidered in red, orange and yellow on the front. Reverse has an adjustable plastic snap band. Underside of bill is green with "45" handwritten in black ink. Interior white cloth sweatband has a manufacturer flag tag on the proper left side rear, "San Sun / Made in Sri Lanka." Interior front proper left side also has "45" handwritten in black ink.

Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by New York Mets reliever, team captain and Brooklyn native John Franco on September 21, 2001, the first baseball game held after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, as a way of honoring the emergency crews in charge of the recovery in New York City.
