DescriptionA black-and-white picture postcard of a man and woman who are dressed as baseball players, captured as they are about to kiss while on the ground near a base. The woman is looking over her right shoulder at the man with a grin as he leans in towards her. Her right foot is kicked in the air. The man and woman are both dressed in baseball uniforms but the woman's uniform has Elmwood across the front. The caption on the front of the picture postcard reads, "A chance play." A letter on the reverse written to Mrs. Elizabeth Williams from Evalyn reads, "Arrived safe. first thing I seen Wilbert and Mr. Wilson [illegible] everything is blooming wish you was with with me Hope you are better Evalyn." The copyright and publisher information is printed at the bottom of the postcard.
