Rod Carew 3000th Career Hit Autographed shoes

DescriptionRed leather and nylon shoes, size 10, with white laces and white leather detailing on the sides. Heels have "Pony" in vertical white lettering. Bottom soles are white plastic with "Pony" in the center and six metal spikes. Both shoes are autographed on the outer sides towards the heels, "Rod Carew / 29." "29" is also written in faded black ink on the inner side of the left heel.

Bio/Historical NoteShoes worn by California Angels' infielder Rod Carew when he achieved his 3,000th hit on August 4, 1985 off of Frank Viola of the Minnesota Twins at Anaheim Stadium. The Angels defeated the Twins 6-5.
