Tim Lincecum 1000th Career Strikeout shoes

DescriptionBlack leather and nylon shoes, size 11 1/2, with white laces and orange and white detailing on both the inner and outer sides. Inner and outer sides also have black mesh paneling with "9 Spike" stamped near the outer heel. Oversized tongues extend down over the top half of the laces and have "Mizuno" with a logo embroidered in orange. Heels have a vertical orange panel and have a manufacturer logo and "Mizuno" in white with a depiction of a ballplayer above in white also. Heels also have MLB Authentication hologram stickers. Right shoe has additional rubber toe reinforcement. Bottom soles are gray and orange plastic with nine metal spikes and "291" handwritten in faded black ink on the right shoe sole.

Bio/Historical NoteShoes worn by San Francisco Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum on June 6, 2011 when he recorded his 1,000th career strikeout. Lincecum became the eighth pitcher in history to reach 1,000 strikeouts in his first five seasons. The others are Pete Alexander, Bert Blyleven, Tom Seaver, Doc Gooden, Mark Langston, Hideo Nomo and Kerry Wood.
