John Franco World Series cap

DescriptionBlack wool cap, size 7 1/8, with an embroidered team logo on the front. Proper left side has a "2000 World Series" patch and there is an MLB logo embroidered at the rear center. Underside of the bill is gray with "45" handwritten in black marker. There are three manufacturers labels sewn onto the interior sweatband, including "Authentic Diamond Collection," "New Era" and sizing information.

Bio/Historical NoteNew York Mets cap worn by relief pitcher John Franco during the 2000 World Series. The New York Yankees defeated the New York Mets four games to one to win their third consecutive championship and 26th overall.
