DescriptionRed wool cap, size 7 3/8, with a white embroidered "P" logo on the front and a blue button at the top crown. Underside of the bill is gray. Rear center has an MLB logo with "Go Nebraska / 1 / RA." Interior of the cap has a white sweatband with three labels attached to the rear, including "Authentic Diamond Collection," "New Era / Since 1920" and a label with sizing and washing instructions. "38 / Whatever It Takes" is handwritten in black ink on the underside of the bill.
Bio/Historical NotePhiladelphia Phillies cap worn by pitcher Curt Schilling throughout the 1997 season, during which time he led the league with 319 strikeouts. This was a post-1900 National League record among right-handed pitchers.
