DescriptionWhite leather shoes with green detailing on both the inner and outer sides and green laces. Oversize tongues extend down over the top half of the laces and the right shoe tongue has a manufacturer label in the center. Heel uppers are green and once had "Brooks" across them but this lettering is now no longer present and only the ghost of the letters remain. "35" is handwritten in black ink on the undersides of the tongue flaps. Bottom soles are white plastic with six metal spikes and "Brooks" in raised lettering in the center. Insoles are blue.

Bio/Historical NoteShoes worn by Oakland A's outfielder Rickey Henderson during the 1980 season. In 1980, Henderson became the third modern-era player to steal 100 bases in a season. This also broke Ty Cobb's 65-year-old American League stolen base record of 96.
