DescriptionBlack leather shoes, size 11, with black laces and white manufacturer logos on both the inner and outer sides. There are small black manufacturer logos at the base of the laces. Right shoe has additional rubber toe reinforcement. Oversize tongues extend down over the laces to attach with hook and loop fasteners and have "Air" in white embroidery at the top with small punched holes below. Undersides of the tongues have "Brody / Quinn / Wyatt / Save / 479" in white embroidery. Interior undersides of the tongues have manufacturer labels. Inner heels have small MLB Authentication hologram stickers. Heels have a curved stitched design. Insoles are black with "Zoom Air" in white lettering. Bottom soles are black and white plastic with eight metal spikes, raised plastic cleats and a white manufacturer logo in the center.
Bio/Historical NoteShoes worn by San Diego Padres' relief pitcher Trevor Hoffman on September 24, 2006 in a 2-1 Padres win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. This was Hoffman's 479th career save.
