Mark McGwire helmet

DescriptionBlue plastic helmet, size 7 1/2, with proper left ear protection and a white and red "StL" logo sticker on the front. Another white and red sticker, "25," is present on the top of the bill in the center. "25 / ABC / MLB" logo stickers are present on the rear of the helmet. Interior has fabric-covered high density foam pads around the ear guard and at the rear of the helmet. There is a circular high density foam pad at the crown. There is a vinyl-coated tan sweatband around the interior perimeter of the helmet along with three stickers at the interior front, including "Authentic Diamond Collection," a sizing sticker and a warning label.

Bio/Historical NoteRoad batting helmet used by Mark McGwire of the St. Louis Cardinals during the 1998 season, during which time he amassed a record-setting 70 home runs.
