DescriptionLight gray shirt, size 44, with six gray buttons down the front placket. "Dodgers" is appliqued in blue and white across the front chest with "55" in red appliques on the front proper left lower torso. There is blue and white knit trim around the sleeve ends. with blue and white elastic trim around sleeve ends. "Rawlings" is embroidered in white on the trim of the proper right sleeve. This sleeve also has an embroidered 1988 World Series patch. "Hershiser / 55" is in blue and white appliques on the reverse. Interior back of the neck has a manufacturer label along with a sizing tag and "Set 1 / 1988" on a small tag to the right.
Bio/Historical NoteRoad shirt worn by Orel Hershiser during his Game 5 win over the Oakland Athletics in the 1988 World Series, which was on October 20th at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum in Oakland, CA. The Dodgers defeated the Athletics four games to one to win the 1988 World Series. Hershiser was named MVP of the 1988 World Series.
