Bio/Historical NoteBat used by actor Robert Redford as Roy Hobbs in the 1984 film, "The Natural." Setting up the climactic, sparks-flying home run scene in "The Natural," Roy Hobbs charges his young batboy, Bobby Savoy, to "pick out a good one." Bobby returns with this bat, his homemade Savoy Special.
