DescriptionWhite leather baseball with red stitching and red stamps, including "Rawlings," "Official Major League Baseball" and "PNC Park Opening Day 2001." Starting pitchers Chris Reitsma and Todd Ritchie have signed the ball in blue ink on either side of one of the panels.

Bio/Historical NoteBaseball used in first game played at Pittsburgh's PNC Park on April 9, 2001 and signed by the starting pitchers, Chris Reitsma of the Cincinnati Reds and Todd Ritchie of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Reds defeated the Pirates 8-2.
