DescriptionBlack painted wooden bat, 32 ounces, with "125 / Louisville Slugger / Powerized" in silver lettering in the center of the barrel and "Genuine C271 / Gary Sheffield / Florida Marlins" in silver lettering at the end of the barrel. "10 C271" is written in white marker on the knob end.

Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Gary Sheffield of the Florida Marlins to hit the last of 11 home runs in April. He was one of three major league players in 1996 to hit 11 home runs, tying a major league record for the most home runs in April.
