DescriptionRoyal blue cap, size 7 1/8, with a team logo embroidered on the front in white. Button at the top crown is white. Underside of the bill is green with "18" handwritten in black ink and "6/25/84 / Bill Russell / #1953" handwritten in blue ink. Interior brown leather sweatband has three manufacturer labels, including "Major League Baseball," "New Era" and a sizing tag.
Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by Bill Russell of the Los Angeles Dodgers as he played his 1,953rd game as a Los Angeles Dodger on June 25, 1984. This surpassed the previous record of 1,952 games set by Willie Davis.
