Nolan Ryan 5000th Career Strikeout cap

DescriptionRoyal blue cap, size 7 1/4, with a red button at the top crown and a red and white embroidered "T" logo on the front. Underside of the bill is light gray with "34" handwritten in blue ink and "1" circled in black ink above. Interior white fabric sweatband has a manufacturer label at the rear center and a small sizing tag at the proper right rear.

Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by Texas Rangers pitcher Nolan Ryan on August 22, 1989 against the Oakland Athletics when he recorded his 5,000th career strikeout, a 3-2 fastball clocked at 96 mph that retired Oakland's Rickey Henderson.
